Disclosure

sudoflux may eventually use affiliate links, display ads, sponsorships, or paid consulting links.

The editorial rule is simple:

Monetization cannot upgrade the evidence label.

If a product is only a researched candidate, it stays marked as researched. If it is owned and used, the page should say where it is used and what broke. If it has not been tested, the page should say that plainly.

Some outbound links may become affiliate links. If you buy through one, sudoflux may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate links do not change the underlying evidence. Pages distinguish:

  • owned / currently used
  • owned / previously used
  • rejected / avoid
  • researched candidate
  • needs confirmation

Ads​

Display ads may be added later. Ads are not endorsements.

Evidence and corrections​

Product claims remain tied to the evidence available for that item. Corrections, changed configurations, and stale information should be identified when discovered.
